Coby Mayo to start for the Mavericks Tuesday
The Mavericks will be shaking up their starting lineup on Tuesday when they take on the Los Angeles Clippers.
Coby Mayo, who has been coming off the bench all season, will get the start in place of Reggie Bullock. Bullock has been struggling with his shot lately, and the Mavericks are hoping that Mayo can provide a spark.
Mayo is a veteran player who has started over 500 games in his career.
He is a good shooter and passer, and he can also create his own shot. The Mavericks are hoping that he can bring some of that experience and leadership to the starting lineup.
Bullock is a good defender, but he has not been shooting the ball well lately. He is shooting just 32% from the field and 28% from three-point range this season. The Mavericks are hoping that Mayo can provide a boost to their offense.
The Mavericks are currently 10-10 this season. They are in seventh place in the Western Conference standings. The Clippers are 11-9 this season. They are in fifth place in the Western Conference standings.
The Mavericks and Clippers will tip off at 7:30 p.m. CT on Tuesday at the American Airlines Center.
