BRIDGERTON fans fell in love with Eloise and Penelope's friendship almost as much as they did Daphne and Simon's love story. But in the Season 2 finale, "The Viscount Who Loved Me," Eloise and Penelope had a massive blowout fight, and their friendship was left hanging in the balance. The fight was caused by Eloise's discovery that Penelope was the anonymous gossip columnist Lady Whistledown.

In an interview with Vulture, Claudia Jessie, who portrays Eloise on Netflix's Bridgerton, talked about playing the scene where Eloise confronts Penelope about being Lady Whistledown. Jessie said that she was "so excited" to film the scene, and that she "loved" the way it was written.

"I think it's a really important scene for Eloise," Jessie said. "She's finally confronting Penelope about something that's been bothering her for a long time. And I think it's a really powerful scene for Penelope as well. She's finally able to tell Eloise the truth, and I think it's a really cathartic moment for both of them."

Jessie also talked about Eloise's relationship with Benedict, her brother. She said that she thinks Eloise and Benedict have a "really special bond." "They're both outsiders in their own way," Jessie said. "And I think they really understand each other."

As for what's next for Eloise, Jessie said that she's "really excited" to see where the character goes in Season 3. "I think there's a lot of potential for her," Jessie said. "She's a really complex and interesting character, and I think there's a lot more to explore with her."
